Horse Lovers Day is an annual event held at Leatherman Lane farm in Concord, NC. Once a year, we open our private equestrian facility up to the public, to share our love of horses with the community, promote local businesses & support an amazing cause!
HLD 20025 will have horse & pony rides, multiple food trucks, numerous vendors & great shopping opportunities, music & line dancing, horse drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, as well as lots of family fun throughout the day. We have an in person raffle with plenty of opportunities to help this great cause and win great stuff at the same time (100% of the proceeds from the raffle will to the Go Jen Go Foundation to help in their mission to provide critical financial assistance to local individuals and families who are battling breast cancer)! HerScan will be on site that day to provide breast ultraounds as well (click to check appointment times and book yours with them directly).

Adult tickets are $5 each & come with 1 raffle ticket (use it for a chance to win an item of your choice from our raffle)
Children's tickets are $1 and available on the same page (required for admission for anyone under the age of 12)
VIP tickets are $25 Each VIP wristband gets 1 adult (or young adult over the age of 12) into the VIP area. This tented area has seating, free food & beverages, and more! No children under the age of 12
will be admitted to this area, and tickets are non-refundable so please plan accordingly. Nursing infants
will be allowed in, but we ask that you excuse yourself if you are unable to quiet a crying baby.

THANK YOU doesn't seem like enough... With your help, encouragement & generous support, we were able to meet our goal of raising $15,000 for the Go Jen Go! Foundation at Horse Lovers Day 2023 & nearly met our goal of $10,000 for 2024. With the hurricane that hit our neighbors in Western North Carolina just before the 2024 festival, the focus was obviously divided and we were honored to raise funds and much needed supplies for the hurricane victims and disaster relief as well!
We are so thankful for all who donated, bought a ticket & came out to the festival, to our vendors & to those who participated in our raffle & online auction, shared our posts, volunteered, provided sponsorship, had us on TV or shared this event in print!! YOU helped us do this & we are SO grateful for your support!!

Horse Lovers Day History...
Leatherman Lane hosted its 5th and final Horse Lovers Day event back in 2015. Having outgrown our small farm, with over 2500 people in attendance at this 1-day event, we shut “HLD” down for safety reasons, promising to bring it back when we expanded our facility “someday”. This cherished, family friendly event was a fun, horse themed day for the community to get together and experience all things horse related. Countless children and adults took their first horse ride at this event, which also offered food, horse drawn carriage rides, shopping, demonstrations, and more for those in attendance.
In 2021, Leatherman Lane hosted its first breast cancer awareness event and partnered with HerScan to offer onsite breast ultrasounds (more on that below). The Go Jen Go Foundation was the beneficiary of all fundraising efforts with our “Ride Jen Ride” trail ride, online auction and raffles held throughout the day. This amazing event was thrown together in just a few weeks and very quickly, we knew it was something we would need to go bigger on moving forward and commit to hosting yearly!
For 2022, we fulfilled a promise made to the community back in 2015 by bringing Horse Lovers Day back to our expanded equestrian facility (directly across the road from our original facility) and combining it with our breast cancer event to make this a HUGE, family friendly, horse themed, fundraising, day of awesomeness for the community to get together for a great cause and an amazing time! We raised over $6500 for the Go Jen Go Foundation at the 2022 event, and more than doubled that in 2023, raising over $15,000! THANK YOU for being part of this amazing effort to help those in our community, while enjoying horses and friends together!
Giving back to the community is something we are very proud to do in this unique way and we appreciate your support of our efforts! Whether that is sharing the festival, donating to it, or just showing up to enjoy the day with us, we cant thank you enough for your continued support!
